One more improvements has landed in the built-in PDF reader in Microsoft Edge. It now shows a pane on the left with page thumbnails for the open document. You can use it for quick navgation.

The novelty made its first appearance in Edge 99.0.1133.0, released to the Canary channel last night. After installing it, you can switch the Table of contents to either List view or Thumbnail view. Both can be used to quickly go through the open file.
Edge has inherited this feature from Chromium, as the Chrome browser includes such a feature for long. Since the browser share the underlying Chromium project, they often interchange their features.
The PDF reader in Edge is one of the browser's features that often receives major improvements and additions. Just recently Microsoft added support of PDF documents to Web Capture, so one can easily take a screenshot of the text.
But that's not all that today's Edge update brought to the user. The browser includes a couple of new flags that enable Mica Acryllic effects for menus and the title bar.
You can now apply the newest Mica effect to more parts of the user interface of the browser. For that, open a new tab in Edge, and type the following in the address bar:
edge://flags#edge-visual-rejuv-materials-title-barHit the Enter key and select Enabled for this flag to activate the new look of the titlebar.
Additionally, there is a flag that applies the Acryllic visual effect to the menus. To turn it on, use the following flag.
edge://flags#edge-visual-rejuv-materials-menuIt enables the new appearance for the built-in menus in Edge.
Finally, you have to restart the Edge browser after changing the flags mentioned above.
