In recent Nightly versions of Firefox, Mozilla has added a new system add-on called FlyWeb. You can learn about it in detail HERE. Basically, it allows the Firefox browser to connect directly to devices which have Web API enabled. It is enabled by default, so you might want to disable it if you have no use for FlyWeb. Here is how to disable it.
- Type or copy-paste about:config into the address bar of Firefox.
- Look for a parameter named dom.flyweb.enabled and set it to false as shown below:
- Now, close the Firefox (Nightly) browser and open the folder where the firefox.exe file is located:
- Go to the subfolder called browser\features and delete the file named flyweb@mozilla.org.xpi:
That's it. Now you have no FlyWeb add-on installed.
