Windows 11 Build 22631.4825 is now available in the Release Preview Channel. This update introduces several enhancements and fixes, including improvements in the Taskbar, File Explorer, and many other inbox apps. Additionally, there are fixes related to Remote Desktop and other system reliability improvements.

Windows 11 22635.4800 (Beta) improves Search, Widgets and Settings

Microsoft has released a new preview Windows 11 version 23H2, build 22635.4800 (KB5050085) to Windows Insiders in the Beta channel. It sports hardware info tiles in Settings, Widgets that support "existing web contents", Support for third-party search engines in Search for the European Economic Area (EEA), and some fixes.

Windows 11 Build 27774 (Canary) secures the Administrator account for everyone

Microsoft has released Windows 11 Build 27774 to Windows Insider program participants using the Canary channel. The update brings with it a secured Administrator account, an additional confirmation for drive formatting in the setup program, and some fixes.

Microsoft was working on a Dynamic Wallpapers feature for Windows 11,  but for some reason it didn't found its path into any of the Preview or release versions of the OS. In fact, it was a feature of Windows 10X, the cancelled OS project from which Windows 11's user interface originated, along with several features. A former Microsoft designer has shed some light on what the Dynamic Wallpaper feature actually is.

Windows 11’s Recall still takes screenshots of credit cards

Microsoft's Recall feature has returned to Windows Insiders builds, complete with screen encryption and a sensitive information filtering setting. The latter prevents any apps or websites that contain credit card numbers, insurance policies, or other sensitive financial information from being recorded. However, in testing, this filter only works in a limited number of cases.
