March cumulative updates are now available for Windows 11 and Windows 10

Microsoft has released monthly cumulative updates for all supported operating systems. The updates primarily focus on fixing discovered bugs and vulnerabilities, but may also include new features. The updates are now available on Windows Update.

Copilot for Windows now supports the “Press to talk” feature

Microsoft has released an update to the Copilot app for Windows (version 1.25024.100.0 and above) to Windows Insiders on all update channels. This update brings with it the Press to talk feature, which allows you to quickly interact with Copilot using your voice.

Windows 11 Build 22635.5025 (Beta) improves File Explorer and Start Menu

Along the Canary update, Insiders on the Beta channel are also getting a new release. Build 22635.5025 brings with it thumbnails/carousel view for Recommended files in File Explorer. It is available for everyone except Insiders in EEA. Also, the Recommended section of the Start menu can now show a new kind of recommendations - to open and/or pin frequently snapped apps.

Windows 11 Build 27808 (Canary) changes how Task Manager calculates CPU usage

Microsoft today released Windows 11 Build 27808 to Insiders in the Canary Channel. Besides a good set of fixes, it makes the Task Manager calculate CPU usage more accurate. The new method also makes it show the same value as third party apps usually show. Finally, there is an updated Store app.

Windows 11 Build 26120.3360 (Dev & Beta) is available to Insiders

Microsoft has released Windows 11 Build 26120.3360 (KB5052090), to Windows Insiders using the Dev and Beta channels. Recently, Insiders in the Beta channel have been receiving the same Windows 11 version 24H2 builds that are released to the Dev channel. The updates are currently optional, so you can choose the right time to upgrade to the new OS version.

Windows 11 Build 22635.5015 (Beta) adds the Emoji button to the taskbar

Microsoft has released Windows 11 Build 22635.5015 (version 23H2,  KB5052089) for Windows Insider program participants in the Beta channel. It adds the trim video option to the Snipping Tool, a new Emoji button to the taskbar, and includes several fixes.
