Windows 11 Build 27788 is now available to Insiders on the Canary channel. The release highlights include a reworked MIDI subsystem, an updated OneDrive app that allows working with your phone files seamlessly, and several improvements and fixes.

The recently released Windows 11 Build 22635.4870 introduced a new Lock Screen that allows adding any resizable widget, and not only Weather. By default, the feature is available to a small number of users. But with ViVeTool, you can activate it without waiting for it to become available to a wider audience.

As you may already know, Microsoft is working on an extra taskbar button that will open the Emoji panel in Windows 11. With recent updates, the button has got additional design styles.

A new Beta channel release, Windows 11 Build 22635.4870, introduces a greatly improved Settings page for adding widgets to the Lock Screen. Besides, the File Explorer's Home folder now shows people icons for shared files. Besides, there is a huge number of various fixes.

Microsoft has removed the official  instructions for bypassing the CPU and TPM 2.0 requirements for installing Windows 11 on unsupported PCs. This happened after the release of Windows 11 version 24H2, and now you will not find any mention of the AllowUpgradesWithUnsupportedTPMOrCPU registry entry method on the support site.

Windows Insiders in the Dev and Canary channels are getting an update to the Paint app (version 11.2412.271.0 and above). This update introduces the Copilot menu, which provides access to all the smart features that help you create and edit images faster.

Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 26120.3073 (KB5050090) is coming to the Dev and Beta Channel. This update introduces a preview of an enhanced Windows Search feature, allowing you to locate files stored in your OneDrive - specifically for Windows Insiders using Snapdragon-powered Copilot+ PCs. There is a new home page in Settings for customer PCs, and dozens of fixes.

You can create you own desktop shortcut for the Ctrl + Alt + Del screen. It is pretty useful when you work over Remote Desktop apps, as it explicitly opens on the needed machine. Clicking such a shortcut will open for you the familiar full screen page with the Lock, Sign out, Task Manager,  Change password commands, etc.

Microsoft has released Windows 11 Build 27783 to Insiders in the Canary channel. It includes improvements made to File Explorer, Magnifier, and fixes for inbox apps and the taskbar.

Last year, the Windows 11 Start menu got a new Phone Link sidebar, which offers a quick and easy way to interact with your connected Android smartphone. The iOS support was promised to come later. Finally, in the latest Phone Link update for Windows Insiders, Microsoft has added integration with iPhones.
