Windows 10 Build 19044.1739 (KB5014023) hits the Release Preview channel with fixes

Microsoft today release a new optional "C" update for Windows 10. It won't install automatically and targets devices running on the Release Preview channel. The patch KB5014023 is for Windows 10 version 21H2, and raises the OS version to Build 19044.1739.

Microsoft today released new monthly cumulative updates for all supported operating systems. Traditionally, such updates do not include any new features. Instead, their goal is to fix bugs and eliminate vulnerabilities. Updates are already available from Windows Update.

Windows 10 20H2 and 1909 will reach end of service in May

Microsoft reminds its consumers and customers that two versions of Windows 10, 20H2 and 1909, will hit end of service on May 10, 2022. Version 1909 is already officially supported in the enterprise area only. It has already expired for the Home and Pro editions and has near 2% of the market share among consumers.

Windows 10 21H2 Build 19044.1618 adds Search Highlights and a good pack of fixes

Microsoft is releasing KB5011543 to Insiders in the Release Preview whose PCs aren't eligible to upgrade to Windows 11 and stay on Windows 10. The patch installs Windows 10 21H2 Build 19044.1618, and features Search Highlights backported from Windows 11.
