How to Enable or Disable Tab Previews Hover Cards in Microsoft Edge
You may remember the Tab Hover Cards Preview feature introduced in Google Chrome 78. It is a new style tooltips that include a thumbnail preview image of the page opened in the tab. This feature has finally reached Microsoft Edge, and you can enable or disable it.
A new useful option is coming to Chromium, and will subsequently reach both Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. A new feature, that extends the existing QR code generator for URLs, will allow you to do the same with images on a page content.
Yet another small improvement has landed in the Canary version of Microsoft Edge to the Quick Links feature. Recently, the company has added the ability to collapse the Quick Links section, website suggestions and an update notification badge for Quick Links on New Tab Page. In the latest Canary release of Edge, the Quick Links section has a different look.
Microsoft has released the first Edge Dev build based on Chromium 86. Its version number is 86.0.587.0, and there are lots of new features and fixes.
How to Pin a Site to the Taskbar in Microsoft Edge Chromium
Starting in Windows 10 build 20175, Microsoft had made it possible to pin individual websites to the taskbar from Microsoft Edge. Clicking a pinned site on the Taskbar will now show you all of the open tabs for that site across any of your Microsoft Edge windows.

How to Enable or Disable Site and Search Suggestions in Edge Address Bar
As you type in the address bar, Edge sends the information you entered, along with which suggestion you select, position of selection, and other address bar data to your default search provider. This allows the browser to form and show search suggestions in the address bar, along with web sites that match the typed criteria. If you are not happy with this feature, you can disable it. The appropriate option is available in the privacy section of Edge's settings.
Microsoft has published the release schedule for the Chromium-based Edge browser. The document covers release dates for versions up to 89, and covers two channels, Beta and Stable.
During the Inspire 2020 conference for partners Microsoft has revealed a number of new features that come to Edge. Most of the features are already familiar to Edge Insiders, but regular Edge users may find them exciting.
