Microsoft is currently working on improving the Bluetooth device pairing experience. A new feature, called Quick Pair, made its appearance in internal builds of Windows 10 Redstone 4. Here are some details.
As first spotted by Rafael Rivera on Thurrott.com, the feature simplifies the connection between Bluetooth devices. Rather than pressing or holding buttons to connect a new device, Quick Pair would allow you to simply hold a Bluetooth device near your Windows PC to pair it. All you will need to do is tap a toast notification.
This will save a lot of time. The user don’t have to go through the device's manual to learn how to pair the Bluetooth device.
It is not known yet when this feature will reach the stable branch of Windows 10 and which devices will be supported by Quick Pair.
