According to a new AdDuplex report, Windows 11 now has 23% of market. Their stat info on the use of different versions of Windows is based on information from 5000 applications. The apps are using the AdDuplex SDK, and serve as the only data source. So the actual numbers must be different, but Microsoft never shares its own stat on the OS usage.
So, by the end of June 2022, Windows 11's market share had crossed the 23% mark. Over the past two months, the growth was 3.4%. So it popularity is growing very slow. It still holds the third position, with Windows 10 May 2021 Update (version 21H1) as second most popular system in the Windows family. Windows 10 21H2 is the most used OS.
The latter continues to grow. Now this version of the system is used on 38.2% of devices, which is 3.2% more than in April. Users are coming from now-discontinued version 20H2 of Windows 10, who receive version 21H2 automatically.
The second place is taken by Windows 10 May 2021 Update (version 21H1) with a share of 23.9%, although its popularity is reducing. In two months, it lost 2.5%.
