A bug makes Windows 11 show non-existent time zone change notifications

Microsoft is aware of a bug in Windows 11 and Windows 10 that causes the system to constantly send notifications asking to allow a time zone change. The OS detects some mysterious location change, so it asks you to accept or reject the new settings.. If you agree, the date and time settings page opens, where the time zone has not actually changed.

For one of the users, Windows sends a notification asking for permission to change the time zone every day, several times a day. The time zone has no reason to change and hasn't changed. So you can imagine how annoying the situation is.

These notifications appear repeatedly regardless of whether the user chooses to "Accept" or "Ignore" the request. Clicking the "Accept" button opens the Settings app to the Date and Time page.

Microsoft support said that the company is aware of the problem and is investing the cause of the bug.
