It is a powerful system utility that supports Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, and Windows 11 and includes hundreds of settings. It also includes many options that were earlier available exclusively in my standalone applications.

Build 2024: In the near future, Microsoft Edge will get a new AI-powered translator that will handle videos in real time from sites like YouTube, LinkedIn, etc. The app will translate and create subtitles, as well as dubbing the voice (voice-over translation).

Starting today, Microsoft is holding its Build 2024 event. The company is revealing a lot of information about devices and future of Windows and related development. On the first day of the event, the Redmond software giant claimed that it now recommends the Windows App SDK (along with WinUI 3) and WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) for building UI apps for Windows.

During its Surface even, Microsoft introduced a new desktop wallpaper. This is another version of the Bloom wallpaper, which color scheme resembles the Copilot logo. As the May 20 event was mostly dedicated to Surface and "new era PCs", Microsoft has announced new variations of Surface Laptop and Surface Pro powered by the Snapdragon X chip. Also, there are now new devices with the same option from Dell, HP, Acer, ASUS & Lenovo.

Last week Google released Chrome 125, a major release and the first one with native ARM64 builds. Besides, there is now in-depth executable file scan that runs automatically, an extra warning for add-ons installed outside of the Web Store, and a few more changes. Microsoft is now rolling out the stable version of Microsoft Edge 125, which brings with it general improvements, fixes, and a few new features. The full version is 125.0.2535.5.

Microsoft is working on a new variant of the Home folder, the default location of File Explorer in Windows 11. The layout of the contents is slightly reworked, with the middle Favorites section to become a tab next to the Recent section. Finally, there will be a new Shared tab.
