Mozilla renames Firefox Account to Mozilla Account to unify names

Beginning on November 1st, Mozilla will be renaming the Firefox account to Mozilla. This decision comes as the Firefox account has evolved to provide a broader range of services beyond just authentication for Firefox Sync.

It has grown to become a vital account management tool for Mozilla, catering to millions of users worldwide. Consequently, the name "Firefox" no longer adequately represents the entirety of Mozilla's product offerings. The purpose of this renaming initiative is to establish consistency across all Mozilla platforms and increase recognition of the product portfolio.

If you are a Firefox Account user, you don't need to take any action. Your username, password, and settings will remain the same. You can continue using your account as usual.

So, Similar to how Firefox works, your Mozilla account will grant you access to a variety of Mozilla products, including VPN, Pocket, Monitor, and Relay, with just one login. Additionally, you will be able to synchronize your bookmarks, browsing history, passwords, and more across all your devices.
