What's new in Edge 114

Microsoft Edge Workspaces

This feature allows users to organize web page tabs in separate windows, as well as share tab groups with other users, for example, so that all colleagues can explore the same websites and files. Each workspace contains its own set of tabs and favorites that are created and controlled by the user and collaborators. Workspaces are saved and updated automatically. Some more details here.

Mouse Gestures

Note: It will be most likely hidden by default in your browser, but you can force-enable it by adding the line --enable-features=msEdgeMouseGestureDefaultEnabled,msEdgeMouseGestureSupported after msedge.exe in the Edge shortcut. Check out how to enable mouse gestures in Microsoft Edge.

Mouse gestures in web browsing enable users to control their browser by performing specific actions using their mouse. These actions, typically simple movements or patterns, trigger specific commands or functions recognized by the browser. In Microsoft Edge, mouse gestures can be used to launch built-in features such as closing a tab or going back in browsing history by holding down the right mouse button and swiping in a particular direction.
