ChatGPT will soon work in Google Chrome and Safari

According to Microsoft's director of communications, Caitlin Roulston, Bing Chat access is currently being tested on Safari and Chrome for select users. Once standard testing procedures are complete, access will be expanded to more users.

However, there are some limitations when using Bing Chat on Chrome and Safari, such as a 2,000-word prompt limit and a conversation reset after 5 turns. Additionally, pop-ups prompting users to download Edge may appear.

ℹ If you use Microsoft Edge, then the limits are quite different. It allows you to perform up to 30 requests per session and up to 4000 characters in one message.

Microsoft has also introduced dark mode for Bing Chat, which can be accessed by selecting the hamburger menu and then hitting Appearance > Dark or System Default. While some users have reported seeing this option, it has not been fully rolled out yet.
