Microsoft today released Windows 11, version 22H2 to all insiders in the Release Preview channel. It is also available on devices enrolled in the Windows Insider program for Business. They receive the same build 22621 which is known to be RTM.

Microsoft has finally released KB5014023 to stable Windows 10 users. Currently an optional "C" patch, it has been available in Release Preview channel for a while with two reissues. You can remove the Add to favorites item from context menu in Windows 11 if you find no use for this feature. The Favorites section was first introduced in build 22593. There, Microsoft renamed Quick Access to Home in the File Explorer startup location. The Pinned files section then become "Favorites". Two weeks ago, were there rumors that Windows 11 RTM build 22H2 would be signing on May 20. Some sources were naming May 24 as the sign off date. But build 22621 was named the main candidate for this status. At that time, this was only a guess. Now, Microsoft has actually confirmed this information.
