PowerToys 0.84 brings with it the long awaited Workspaces feature

A few days ago Microsoft has released a new PowerToys version 0.84 with several improvements and new features. The key change in this release is the addition of Workspaces - a new tool for organizing your apps on the screen.

Workspaces

PowerToys Workspaces is a utility that allows you to launch a customized set of applications in a tailored layout on your desktop. With Workspaces, you can save your preferred application arrangement as a reusable workspace and quickly relaunch it with a single click from the editor or via a convenient desktop shortcut.

The editor also provides advanced customization options, including the ability to add command-line arguments, run applications as an administrator, and adjust window sizes and their on-screen positions.

Custom actions for Advanced Paste

With PowerToys 0.84, the Advanced Paste AI-powered module has received support for custom actions. It allows users to create pre-defined prompts for the AI model. Additionally, both standard and custom actions can now be searched directly from the prompt box. You can also use Ctrl + number shortcuts for the first 9 search results within the app.
