Rumors say that Microsoft may pick the final build for Windows 11 version 22H2 this month. Development of Windows 11 version 22H2 (Sun Valley 2) is coming to its end. Now various sources predict that Build 22621 is most likely be the RTM build of the OS.

Microsoft released separate builds for Dev and Beta channels

Today, Microsoft closed the channel switch window for Dev and Beta Insider channels. It is not possible to change the channel after installing today's releases. Insiders on the Beta channel receive build 22621 from the 22H2 branch. The Dev channel goes forward with what will eventually become 23H2, starting with today's build 25115. Microsoft is testing Xbox Controller Bar for Windows 11

Windows 11 Build 22616 enforces Microsoft Account requirement in Pro edition

Microsoft today released Windows 11 Build 22616 to the Dev and Beta Channels. It now requires you to enter your Microsoft Account details when installing the OS for personal use. This change has been first introduced in build 22557, and now the requirement is enforced.

Microsoft is about to put Windows 11 22H2 on RTM rails by the end of May

Microsoft is finishing development of the first major feature update for Windows 11. You may know it as code name "Sun Valley 2" and "version 22H2". Microsoft has fixed screen flickering in Windows 11 Safe Mode

KB5012643, an optional preview update for Windows 11 released in April 2022, includes an annoying bug that prevents entering Safe Mode without networking support.
