Bing will show AI-generated shopping recommendations

Bing, the search engine created by Microsoft, will now incorporate AI-generated recommendations. They will appear when you search for products. The suggestions are provided as a table, providing a comparative analysis of similar products from various manufacturers.

The AI engine will collect the information from official websites of product manufacturers. In addition, Microsoft plans to make these AI-generated recommendations available in Bing Chat and the Edge sidebar. So they will always be under users' fingertips.

Having a product feature comparison table is a convenient and quick way to make a choice between various product available on the market, as long as AI provides the correct information. The AI-assisted search recommendations are already available in the US and are now being rolled out for other markets.

In addition to the comparison table, the Bing search engine will collect product reviews from various retailers. This way, you will not only be able to compare products, but you will also quickly find out what others think of them and what their experience with the product is. It should also be helpful when making a purchasing decision.

Furthermore, one more improvement is landing in the Edge browser. It is capable to track the prices, and if it drops for the product you have bought, the browser will offer to contact the seller on the user's behalf for a refund. It will automatically compose a message draft to the seller, streamlining the process for users to potentially receive price adjustments.

Microsoft is taking seriously the use of AI to help the user with online purchases. By bringing with AI-assisted recommendations, aggregated reviews, and price tracking capabilities, the Bing + Edge couple is becoming a powerful tool for learning comprehensive information, insights and opportunities available in the market.
