Microsoft has released an update to the test version of the Photos app that allows you to remove and replace the background. Starting with the just-released version 2023.11110.8002.0, the app includes a new toolbar button for that.
When you click the button, it opens a pane with three options: blur the background, remove it, or replace it. In addition, the app now features a Background Brush tool, enabling users to easily alter its color.
There are also a few more modifications made to the Photos app.
First of all, the app now includes a much anticipated Slideshow option. You can now just click a folder in the list, and the app will show all its images one by one.
The toolbar has also got a button to show or hide the image filmstrip. One may find this change pretty useful.
Finally, the options for zooming in and viewing photos in full-screen mode have been relocated from the top of the screen to the bottom right.
All these changes are currently available to Insiders. Microsoft didn't announce yet when these changes will become available to everyone.
Thanks to @PhantomOcean3 for everything!
