Panos Panay, Microsoft's chief product officer, briefly spoke at the Ignite 2021 virtual session. While the Windows chief did not make any major announcements, he vaguely teased the upcoming changes in Windows 10. Panos is very excited about the subject.
“I have not talked about the next generation of Windows and what is coming next, but I can tell you I am so pumped. We are not talking about that today. I know that the future of Windows is incredible, what we are bringing to the table for sure. But ultimately, we are here today to talk about Windows 10 and what Windows 10 brings to the table, and how we can support our customers and partners here at Ignite.”
In other words, no big surprises here. Microsoft is going to hold a separate virtual event in the near future. This virtual event will be dedicated solely to Windows 10. You can expect some news about the upcoming Sun Valley redesign, new features to come, Windows 10X, etc. It is also interesting to note that Panos mentioned “the next generation of Windows” and a regular Windows 10 separately. This can be obviously related to the upcoming Windows 10X launch (some speculate that it will be called “The New Windows”), or a simple play of words.
Unfortunately, we can only guess the meaning of Panos’ words. We know for sure that the Windows chief is pumped, which means something big is about to happen. Although, it looks like Panos Panay is always excited whenever the company makes announcements. Let's wait and see what the future brings to Windows. Meanwhile, you can already enjoy some drastic UI redesigns in Windows 10. For example, Microsoft recently released the brand-new Alarms and Clock app.

Nice that someone’s excited aobut his own inferiority complex to macOS and Android. Because that’s all that is about.
Well you heard it here first,
“the next generation of Windows””
is
Android
on top of
macOS
on top of
linix
with a new UI done in early Egyptian hieroglyphs
So nobody on planet earth can understand it, use it or fix it!!!!!!!!!!!!
