Microsoft to Host Windows Insider Bug Bash Event on August 2

Microsoft has revealed that a new Windows Insider Bug Bash event is scheduled for August 2, 2023 exclusively for members of the Windows Insider Program. The event will primarily focus on preview builds available in the Canary, Dev, and Beta channels, showcasing the latest features. While the Bug Bash will likely involve attendees in identifying bugs in Windows 11, it excludes the Release Preview builds.

In the past, Microsoft was running "quests" within the Feedback Hub for program participants, offering incentives such as unique badges in the hub.

This Bug Bash event may serve as an opportunity for the Windows 11 team to gather the latest data before the release of the upcoming major update, Windows 11 version 23H2.

The Windows 11 23H2 update, set to be released this fall, will introduce the Windows Copilot AI assistant and enhanced power consumption monitoring for applications over specific timings.
