Microsoft is releasing Windows 11 Build 22000.348 (KB5007262)to Windows Insiders in the Beta and Release Preview Channels. The patch resolves just one but important issue.

Earlier we wrote about a bug in Windows 11 that prevents apps from being reinstalled and repaired. Today's update brings a fix for that issue.

Its change log states the following.

Fixed a known issue that might prevent apps, such as Kaspersky apps, from opening after you attempt to repair or update the apps using the Microsoft Installer (MSI).

Besides the above, the patch includes all the fixes introduced in KB5007262, which was released on November 12.

If your PC is set to get updates from the Beta or Release Prewiew channels, it should download and install Build 22000.348 (KB5007262) automatically. To speed up the process, you can open Settings and go to Windows Update > Check for updates. Clicking the button will make Windows 11 to search for latest patches available.
