Starting with build 15014 of Windows 10, you can set a custom accent color for title bars and the taskbar. This feature is new to Windows 10 Creators Update. The Settings app was updated to allow you to add and use custom color presets. Let's see what has changed.

Windows 10 is known for having a limited amount of predefined colors in the Settings app. Unlike Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 where you could choose your own color from a mixer, Windows 10 does not allow this as of Anniversary Update. Many users complained about this, because it was hard to add a custom accent color without using a third party app or a hack. A recent change seen in the Settings app shown during the October 2016 Microsoft event shows the ability to use any desired color as your accent color.
