We continue our coverage of Vivaldi browser customization. In this article, we will see how to remove the mostly useless Home button. As usual, we will perform a simple CSS trick. Here we go.

Before we start, we need to create a special custom.css file which will store our changes. We need to connect to the Vivaldi browser, so please refer to the following article: Attach own CSS file to the Vivaldi browser.

Remove the Home button from the Vivaldy browser

To remove the Home button from the Vivaldy browser, we need to define a new style for that button in the custom.css file mentioned above and make it invisible.

.button-addressfield.home,.button-tabbar.home,.button-toolbar-small.home,.button-toolbar.home{display:none !important}

You can copy-paste the above line.
Restart the browser to apply the changes you made. The result will be as follows:

That's it! You are done.

    Works fine in Vivaldi 1.7.735.46 (Stable channel) (64-bit), which is the latest version as of this post on 08.03.2017. Just follow the directions.
