Photos app got Windows Ink integration

Microsoft Photos, the built-in app in Windows 10 for viewing and organizing your photos has got support for Windows Ink. The integration was introduced with the recent update of the app.

Microsoft today released the updated version 16.1111.1000 of Photos. Starting with this version, the app allows the user to draw on his images directly.

photos-app-versionIt seems to have been rolled out for every Windows 10 user. Both of my PCs, one running the stable version 1607 and the other running Insider Preview version 1703 got the updated app.

photos-app-whats-newThe app adds the ability to use the following tools:

  • Pen.
  • Pencil.
  • Marker.

So, the Photos app has got the same drawing options like the built-in Maps app. You can share the modified photos with your friends.
