Microsoft's mixed reality CVP Robin Seiler stated the following.

We remain committed to the IVAS program and will shift our focus to cloud and AI technologies, which will serve as the foundation for IVAS as a situational awareness platform.
The contract for the supply of 120,000 military versions of the HoloLens headsets was signed in 2021.
Microsoft continues to wind down its mixed reality efforts. In recent years, the company has stopped working on the Windows Mixed Reality platform, discontinued production of HoloLens 2, and abandoned plans for HoloLens 3 entirely.
Anduril Industries will reportedly use Microsoft Azure as the primary cloud platform for all workloads related to the IVAS project and Anduril AI technology. The government must approve the deal.
