Microsoft Store has got several visual and search improvements

With Windows 11 Build 25182, Microsoft has announced an important change to the Microsoft Store. From now, it allows directly downloading and installing games without involving the Xbox app. Earlier, it would switch to the Xbox app to get a game installed on your device.

The changes comes with the version 22207.1401.x of the Microsoft Store app. Update it, try to find a game in the Store, and then click on the Get button. You will instantly initiate the download process.

Speaking about search, it also now looks and works much better. improvement. First of all, it now shows screenshots for games, so you can quickly identify the game you are looking for.

Second, it shows prices and game with a new, more convenient design. When you search for a film or game, the product card includes everything you need to know to purchase it.

Finally, Microsoft has fixed a quite old bug that was preventing the Store from showing more than 2000 search results. Now you can be sure that the result contains everything that matches the entered terms.
