Microsoft has launched a new website for its app store, which has been significantly updated to play well with Windows 11.
The app pages on the site include most of the information displayed in the native Microsoft Store app for Windows. So it is a web front end for it.
You can review the system requirements for the app, see its screenshots and read user reviews. The new site opens at apps.microsoft.com. It works in any web browser on any device.
What has changed is the "Get" button. It doesn't invoke the full Store app any longer. It now opens a compact Microsoft Store dialog that is asking the user to confirm the download. There will be no upgrade to the full Microsoft Store.
You may recall the the older App Store website did not list unpackaged Win32 apps. Starting in Windows 11 version of the Store such can now be hosted, and the new web Store finally shows them.
Much to surprise, there is no list of games and movies on the new website. To get those, so you have to use the web version of the Xbox Store or the old version of the site which remains available.

Any updated on RSS, Sergey?
I really miss looking at your blog headings for the occasional important must-have info, but I simply don’t have the time to browse through every article page by page. Telegram and other social media is no better for me.
Thanks!
