Last week, Microsoft announced the schedule for its conferences for 2017, including Build 2017 and Microsoft Ignite. However, while the mentioned two are for developers and businesses, there was always one more conference for the company's partners — Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference or WPC for short. The company will hold the conference in 2017 too, but it's now known as Microsoft Inspire.
With this new name, Microsoft wants to show how they and their partners are inspiring each other to create innovative products and services. As Corporate VP of the WPC Group at Microsoft, Gavriella Schuster said:
The name Microsoft Inspire better represents what this event provides. It is a destination event that fosters partner-to-partner connections, drives engagement with Microsoft, and surfaces new ideas to help bring our partners’ goals and visions to life and accelerate business while we work as one to deliver the very best solutions to our customers.
Microsoft has already launched an updated web site for Microsoft Inspire, which has the dates for July 9-13, 2017. They have opened the registration for anyone interested in attending the conference. The location for it this time is Washington, D.C.
