Microsoft reminds that Windows 11 versions up to 22H2 will soon reach end of support

Microsoft notifies Windows 11 users that specific releases of the OS will reach end of support in a month. This includes customer editions of Windows 11 21H2, and consumer version of Windows 11 version 22H2. On October 8, 2024, these will release their last security updates.

Following this date, these versions will no longer receive monthly security updates.

Additionally, consumer editions of 22H2, i.e. Windows 11 Home and Pro,  will automatically get a newer Windows version 23H2. The appropriate note has appeared on Microsoft's website.

REMINDER The October 2024 security update is the last security release for Enterprise and Education editions of Windows 11, version 21H2 and Home and Pro editions of Windows 11, version 22H2.
