Microsoft today released Windows 10 Build 14393.2396 to stable branch users. The package KB4346877 is now available for everyone. This cumulative update is applicable to Windows 10 version 1607 "Anniversary Update". Let's see what has changed.

This update addresses an issue that was introduced in the July 2018 .NET Framework update. Applications that rely on COM components were failing to load or run correctly because of “access denied,” “class not registered,” or “internal failure occurred for unknown reasons” errors.

This patch is also applicable to Windows Server 2016.
You can get the update using Windows Update in Settings. Alternatively, you can get it from the Microsoft Update Catalog and install it offline.
