Windows 11 Build 25197 (Dev) features Tablet-optimized taskbar, new system tray, and more

Microsoft has released a new Dev channel Build 25197 to Windows 11 Insiders. The key changes in this build are the return of the Tablet-optimized taskbar, the updated appearance of the system tray. Windows 11 Build 22940 from the “Moments” update has been spotted in PowerShell repo

It is now a known fact that Windows releases will become available once every 3 years. Re-enable the tablet-optimized taskbar in Windows 11 build 25193

As you may remember, for a brief moment of time Insiders in the Dev channel could have a new tablet-optimized taskbar. Microsoft quickly ceased this feature as they planned to rework it. Now it returns back in  Windows 11 build 25193, but is hidden.

Windows 11 Beta Channel receives builds 22621.590 and 22622.590

Along with the Dev channel build 25193, Beta channel is also seeing an update. In the typical fashion, Microsoft pushes two builds to Insiders. Microsoft’s ex-Director of User Experiences is shocked by the Start menu

One of the heavily updated things in Windows 11 is the Start menu. It is really a drastic change from what Windows 10 has. It changes how and where the pinned apps reside, displays a new "Recent" section with files, and even exposes some of your online documents. There are users who don't like these changes.
