If you try to install Windows 7 on a device which comes only with USB 3.0 ports, you might face issues such as non-operational USB keyboard and mouse in the Setup program. While your keyboard and mouse work in the BIOS, they stop responding once Windows 7 Setup starts. This is not a big problem if you have the option to disable USB 3.0 in the BIOS and switch it to the legacy USB 2.0 mode.
