Everything You Need to Know About Microsoft Office 2019 RTM

As promised Microsoft has officially announced the availability of the final version its Office 2019 release for Windows and Mac users. After producing a preview version in the first half of this year, the product has been finalized and is being made available first to enterprise customers with consumer editions available soon after. As is the tradition, Office 2019 includes updated versions of apps from the suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access and Publisher. Notably absent is OneNote which has been moved from Office to Windows 10.

Microsoft announces Office 2019 Preview for commercial customers

Microsoft has announced Office 2019 Commercial Preview, which includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher, Access, Project, Visio and OneNote for Windows 10. The Redmond software giant is also about to release preview versions of Office 2019 for Mac, Exchange 2019, SharePoint 2019, Project Server 2019, and Skype for Business 2019 soon. Office 2019 targets enterprise customers which are not ready for cloud solutions like Office 365.

Outlook is getting a new look on Windows and Mac

Microsoft is currently working on a new user interface for the Outlook desktop app. The change is coming to Office 2019, which is in development as of this writing. Microsoft is trying to give the app a modern, extremely simplified look with less features in the UI compared to what previous versions of Outlook have.

Office 2019 is coming in second half of 2018

Today, at the Microsoft Ignite conference in Orlando, Florida, USA, Microsoft announced the next version of their popular Office suite. The upcoming version will have a number of preview versions during 2018. The final version, titled Office 2019 is expected to be released in second half of 2018.
