Share a Page in Edge in Windows 10 [How To]

Starting with Windows 10 Creators Update, it is easy to share a page opened in Microsoft Edge. Thanks to the updated browser, you can do it quickly with one click. Let's see how it can be done.

Windows 10 Creators Update adds a lot of changes to Microsoft Edge. The browser now has extension support, EPUB support, the ability to export passwords and favorites and a number of other useful functions. The ability to share the URL of a page is now a de facto feature for mobile operating systems. Windows 10, which Microsoft considers as a universal operating system for all platforms, got the same functionality in its new default web browser.

To share a page in Edge in Windows 10, do the following.

  1. Open Microsoft Edge.
  2. Go to the desired web site.
  3. Click the Share button which is located on the right of the address bar.Note: The Share button is available in Windows 10 Creators Update starting with Windows 10 build 15042.
  4. The Share pane will be opened. There, click on the app's icon that you want to transfer the link to.
  5. You might be prompted to fill out some additional information before you share the URL of the opened web page.

Edge has been slowly gaining features ever since it debuted in Windows 10 RTM Build 10240. It's a Universal app which has extension support, a fast rendering engine and a simplified user interface.
