Microsoft has fixed printer issues in Windows 10 with these patches

Microsoft today released a number of patches that resolve printer issues in a few Windows 10 versions. Here are the patches and changes they introduced.

KB4567512 (OS Builds 18362.904 and 18363.904), Windows 10, version 1903, Windows 10, version 1909

Addresses an issue that might prevent certain printers from printing. The print spooler might generate an error or close unexpectedly when attempting to print, and no output will come from the affected printer. You might also encounter issues with the apps you are attempting to print from, such as receiving an error, or the app might close unexpectedly. This issue might also affect software-based printers, such as when printing to PDF.

The same issue is now fixed for older Windows 10 versions with the following updates.

  • KB4567513 (OS Build 17763.1294) for Windows 10, version 1809
  • KB4567514 (OS Build 17134.1553) for Windows 10, version 1803

Check out the Windows Update History web site to see prerequisites for the packages, and read about known issues (if any).
