How to reduce the size of window buttons in Vivaldi

We continue our coverage of Vivaldi browser customization. In this article, we will see how to reduce the size of the minimize, maximize and close buttons in Vivaldi. This can be useful for people who think that these buttons are too big by default. Read on to find out.

Before we start, we need to create a special custom.css file which will store our changes. We need to connect to the Vivaldi browser, so please refer to the following article: Attach own CSS file to the Vivaldi browser.

Reduce the size of window buttons in Vivaldi

To reduce the size of window buttons in Vivaldi, all we need to do is add one line to the custom.css file mentioned above.
Add the following line to the end of that file:

#browser.win .window-buttongroup button.window-close{width:25px}

You can copy-paste the above line.
This will reduce their width and they will look like this:
vivaldi small buttons
That's it! You are done.
