Microsoft may add a new console text editor to Windows

It will work in Terminal, and will replace the aged and not really useful edit app which is not included in 64-bit Windows. Microsoft today released Windows 11 Build 22635.2850 (KB5033453) to Insiders in the Beta channel. It includes some changes earlier introduced to the Canary and Dev channels. Those include a new Share dialog with Whatsapp support, and the updated Microsoft Store app.
Smart Search on Android will be able to find info in PDFs and media files
Google is currently testing a new Smart Search feature that aims to enhance the process of finding information within PDF files and images. It is integrated in the Files app on Android, which is a file manager. By utilizing local machine learning, this option improves the searchability of files. The Smart Search option is able to scan the contents of files on the device automatically, resulting in more accurate search results.
Windows 11 Notepad now has a character counter and a new menu item in File Explorer
Notepad on Windows 11 now includes a character counter, which was introduced in the test version of Windows 11 available in the Canary channel. This counter can be found at the bottom of the Notepad interface, similar to its implementation in Microsoft Word. This UI part is commonly known as a statusbar.
Chrome 120 and Edge 120 are now available with general improvements

Windows 11 Build 26010 is now available to Insiders on the Canary channel. It introduces new settings for the Widgets panel, the Edit in Notepad menu for all files, character counter for Notepad document, an updated Microsoft Store. Besides, you will be able to undock Copilot, and have pagination in Quick Settings.
