Microsoft to start selling Build 2017 tickets on February 14, 2017

Microsoft's Build event for developers has been the main conference for the company for quite a few years now and 2017 won't be an exception. Build 2017 is happening in May and this time, it will be held in Seattle.

More than 5000 developers around the world are expected to attend the event and will learn how to make even more feature rich and beautiful apps for the Universal Windows platform. Microsoft is also expected to give us a glimpse of what to expect from future Windows 10 updates. But the main focus will be on Windows 10 Creators Update.

The official event announcement this year mentions some "surprises" for those attending the conference but given the changes made to it last year we wouldn't hold our breath for any exciting hardware giveaways: Microsoft is more focused on empowering developers with the right tools to create amazing app experiences. Right after the end of the event, you can expect to see announcements and special offers for development tools.

Software continues to transform the world in remarkable ways and developers are at the center of it. At Microsoft Build 2017 we invite you to join us in downtown Seattle to learn about latest new technologies and exciting plans on the horizon.

As always, Microsoft Build is filled with strong technical sessions as well as opportunities to meet and learn from others in the industry. We’ll make sure the schedule is filled with solid content, and will strive to deliver some fun surprises along the way.

Starting February 14th, 2017, you will be able to purchase a ticket for the conference for a short duration of time — this has been a trend every year — Build tickets are sold out in a few minutes. Of course, there's a possibility that Microsoft will add more tickets later this month but they're expected to quickly sell out as well.

Keep your eyes on the official Build 2017 website if you're interested in attending the conference. For those who can't get a ticket or find it too expensive, there will be a live stream on the web just like every year.
